In 2015, Babusenan Brothers came out with their debut film Chaayam Poosiya Veedu (The Painted House). The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) refused to clear the film for exhibition in India because the directors refused to delete scenes where the female lead appeared in the nude. Finally the brothers fought the CBFC in the Kerala High Court and the film was cleared without any deletions.

In 2016, they brought out Ottayaal Paatha (The Narrow Path). The film won several awards at home and abroad.

In 2017, the brothers have come up with their latest, Maravi (Lost).

All their films are produced by FIFTH ELEMENT, a production house comprising close friends Doney Joseph, K. Sreekumar, Tommy John and the brothers.
